2025 London Dangoor Awards
The 2025 London Dangoor Awards was held for the ninth year at the Royal Society of Medicine and brought together hundreds of organisations and volunteers whose grassroots projects support vulnerable communities across the city. The awards are the capital’s largest interfaith awards night and the projects and volunteers were awarded for strengthening community life across London. Organised by the Faith & Belief Forum and supported by the Greater London Lieutenancy, the awards celebrated 42 winning projects, 36 recognised initiatives and six outstanding individuals, with each winning group receiving a £500 grant to continue their work.
More than 80 faith-based and community initiatives were recognised, as civic leaders praised the “everyday heroes” working to strengthen cohesion across the capital during a period of heightened tension and rising hate crime. Several Jewish community representatives attended the ceremony, which has become a significant moment in London’s interfaith calendar and is named in honour of philanthropist David Dangoor CBE, a long-time supporter of Jewish and cross-communal causes.
