Their Majesties The King and Queen visited the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and were received at Barking Learning Centre Community and Family Hub, 2 Town Square, Barking, by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and the Mayor of Barking and Dagenham (Councillor Princess Bright).
Their Majesties afterwards visited Barking and Dagenham College, Rush Green Campus, Dagenham Road, Romford, to mark the Sixty Fifth Anniversary of the College and were received by Mr. Ian Pittaway (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), the Chairman of Governors (Mr. Andy Forbes) and the Principal and Chief Executive Officer (Ms. Natalie Davison).
HM The King then officially opened Eastbrook Studios, Yew Tree Avenue, Dagenham in the afternoon and was received by Ms. Avril McIntyre (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) and the Chief Studio and Real Estate Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of the MBS Group (Mr. Jason Hariton).
