Investiture at the Tower of London

On behalf of His Majesty The King, The Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, presented the British Empire Medal to worthy recipients at the Greater London Honours Presentation which took place in the New Armouries, The Tower of London on Friday 10 April 2026 by kind permission of the Constable, General Sir Gordon Messenger, KCB DSO OBE DL

The event also provided the opportunity to present the King’s Award for Voluntary Service to the worthy recipient organisations that won the award in 2025.

The Sea Cadets London Area Band provided stirring music for the occasion and the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets and members of the 15th Finchley Scout Group were on hand to help the guests.
