HRH The Duke is the Royal Patron of St Mungo’s, which is a UK homelessness charity established over 50 years ago.

Investiture of the new Prior of the Priory of England and the Islands
The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, invested Mr. Stuart Shilson as Prior of the Priory of England and the Islands at the Priory Church, St. John’s Square, London EC1, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE).

EarthWatch Europe – “Tiny Forest” Planting on Peckham Rye Common
The VLL joined a number of other locals, including retirees, toddlers and school groups, helping EarthWatch Europe plant a new “tiny forest” on Peckham Rye Common. It was cold and muddy with snow on the ground but everyone got stuck in and “dug deep”. After the session there are 1,200 new saplings on the Common
