The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, Royal Governors opened the new redevelopment at Sutton’s Hospital

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, Royal Governors, this morning opened the new redevelopment at Sutton’s Hospital in Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square, EC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of Governors (Sir Michael Graydon) and the Master (Ms Ann Kenrick). Her Majesty, accompanied by the Chairman of Governors, viewed the garden, learning centre and museum, and met charity representatives and members of staff. His Royal Highness, accompanied by the Lord Glenarthur (Governor) and Brigadier Charles Hobson (former Master), viewed the garden, Great Hall and museum, and met Governors, Brothers and members of staff.
