The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the National Army Museum
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the National Army Museum, Royal Hospital Road, SW3, and were received by The Duke of Kent (Patron), Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa), the Chief of the General Staff (General Sir Nicholas Carter) and the Mayor of the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (Councillor Elizabeth Rutherford). Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, escorted respectively by the Chairman (General Sir Richard Shirreff) and Mrs Janice Murray (Director General), visited the Army Gallery and Soldier Gallery and met members of staff and volunteers. The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, afterwards re-opened the Museum. From the Court Circular.
