Nominations Open: 2018 Faith & Belief London Community Awards

Nominations for London’s 2018 Faith & Belief Community Awards will be open from 4 June 2018, for six weeks.

The Faith & Belief Community Awards, managed by the Faith & Belief Forum with the Greater London Lieutenancy, recognise the vital work of local communities and individuals in making London a welcoming place for people of all faiths and beliefs.

Each winning submission will receive a £500 grant towards their nominated fund or charity, and will be celebrated at an Evening of Faith Recognition and Celebration in London on 27 November.  The Awards evening is a wonderful celebration of what faith and belief in communities can achieve.  Speaking after last year’s event, Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE said;

“I looked down from the stage and saw London. I saw people giving to other people, bonded by faith and belief – what a wonderful vision. I look forward to the continuation of these awards and certainly intend to support them in the years to come.”

There is a dedicated page on the Faith & Belief Forum website to nominate a group, individual or project for an award.
