Greater London Honours Presentation

The Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, presented 67 National Honours recipients from Greater London with their medals, on behalf of HM The Queen, on the morning of Friday 29th April, at The Tower of London, by kind permission of The Constable of the Tower, General The Lord Houghton of Richmond GCB CBE DL. Citations were read by the Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Colonel Jane Davis OBE QVRM TD DL, and the Chair of the Lord-Lieutenant’s Honours and Awards Committee, Ms Avril McIntyre MBE DL.  One CB was presented, two CBEs, two OBEs, one MBE, sixty BEMs and one QVRM.  The majority of recipients received the recognition for their contributions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
