Her Majesty the Queen opened the new Wing of the Royal Air Force Club.

The Queen, Patron, this morning opened the new Wing of the Royal Air Force Club,
128 Piccadilly, London W1, to mark its Centenary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the President (Air Marshal Sir David Walker) , Air Vice-Marshal Susan Gray (Chairman) and Cadet Warrant Officer Darrell Kovac was also in attendance.

The Queen viewed the newly-built Fitness and Business Suites and a new stained-glass window commemorating Women in the Royal Air Force.

Her Majesty viewed a portrait commissioned to celebrate One Hundred Years of the Royal Air Force Club and met members of staff.
