Admiral of the Fleet, Lord Boyce, remembered at Westminster Abbey

The Lord Lieutenant for Greater London, the High Sheriff of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa, attended the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce KG (former Chief of the Defence Staff) which was held in Westminster Abbey, London SW1 on 13 July 2023.

HM The King was represented by Admiral Sir Antony Radakin (Chief of the Defence Staff) and HRH Prince Michael of Kent also attended the service, joining family, friends and former colleagues to pay tribute to Lord Michael Boyce, who joined the Royal Navy in 1961 and served with distinction throughout his long career. The Lady Usher of the Black Rod, and the Lord Mayor of London were also in attendance.
