BIGKID Foundation Reception and Community Day

The BIGKID Foundation held its Community Day on Friday 26th July and, indeed, it was a Community Day to remember! The fantastic day was filled with fun and activities and was attended by The Mayor of Lambeth, BIGKID’s CEO Shaninga, and Patron Sir Kenneth Olisa (Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London), together with young leader Omari who reflected how much BIGKID has turned his life around.

The BIGKID Foundation exists to equip young people at risk of social exclusion and youth violence to take control of their lives, find, develop and act on their own potential. It believes that behind every kid is something BIG and that with the right support it can put an end to youth violence and school exclusions.
