Ceremonial Arrival of the Emperor and Empress of Japan at the beginning of their State visit

The Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa, received Their Majesties The King and Queen on the occasion of the Ceremonial Arrival of The Emperor and Empress of Japan at the beginning of their State Visit at Horse Guards Parade, London.

The Emperor was invited to inspect a Guard of Honour formed of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards. The Royal party then travelled back to Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession.
