HM The Queen opens the 50th Coronation Library at Moreland Primary School, London

HM The Queen, as Patron of the National Literacy Trust, visited Moreland Primary School in Islington to open its new Coronation Library and was received by Sir Kenneth Olisa (The Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The National Literacy Trust has created 50 Coronation libraries and reading spaces across the UK since 2023 with the 50th library being opened by Her Majesty at Moreland Primary School. The Trust seeks to empower children, young people and adults with the literacy skills they need to succeed and the power to shape their future.
