HRH The Duke of Edinburgh officially opens he Haberdashers’ Borough Academy’s Old Fire Station site

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh officially opened the Haberdashers’ Borough Academy’s Old Fire Station site on 94b Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 on 7 November and was received by Colonel Simon Duckworth (Greater London Deputy Lieutenant).

The Duke of Edinburgh, a member of The Haberdashers’ Company, spent the day touring the school’s impressive facilities and meeting both staff and students. The Academy, opened in September 2019, is part of Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South, a multi academy trust of four secondary and five primary schools in south-east London.
