HRH The Princess Royal attends Mercy Ships International’s 45th Anniversary Dinner

Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, Colonel Simon Duckworth, received HRH The Princess Royal, as Patron of Mercy Ships International, at a Dinner, on board the Elizabethan, Butler’s Wharf, Admirals Court, 9-10 Copper Row, London, SE1.

The dinner marked Mercy Ships International‘s 45th anniversary and launched a new Volunteer Support Fund, to enable more volunteers from developing nations to consider being involved in the life-saving work of bringing surgical care to those who need it most. The dinner celebrated the role of volunteers in delivering the life changing work on our two hospital ships.
