TH The King and Queen Consort meet the British Bangldeshi Community in East London

The Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, received TM The King and The Queen Consort when they visited East London to meet the British Bangladeshi community. Their Majesties planted a tree in Altab Ali Park, in memory of the 25-year-old local who was killed as he walked home from work.  This was followed by a walk along Brick Lane (London E2) where they met representatives of the local community.  The tour concluded with a visit to the Brick Lane Mosque where Their Majesties met members from faith, business, charity and Covid-19-impacted communities.
