The European Political Community Summit at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock

The UK government hosted the fourth European Political Community Summit meeting (EPC) at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. Representatives of His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, welcomed VIPs taking part in the Summit on the days preceding the meeting, as follows:

17th July 2024

Ms. Manju Malhi (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Serbia and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King.

Major Jeremy Fern (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and also The President of the Republic of Finland and welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of The King.

Mrs. Rosemary Prescott (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Kosovo and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King. Mrs Prescott also welcomed Ms Marija Pejcinovic Buric, General Secretary of the Council of Europe and Helga Schmid, Secretary General, OSCE.

Mr Simon Murrells JP ((Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at St Pancras Station to welcome Mr Josep Borrell Fontelles, Vice President, EU Commission and Mr Charles Michel, President, EU Council.

Mr. Andrew Ranson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, upon the Arrival of The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The King.
