The Lord-Lieutenant attends school visit with SHS

The Lord-Lieutenant as patron of School Home Support (SHS) made a very special visit to one of their partner schools in Barking & Dagenham this week. Visiting the Erkenwald Centre, which offers alternative education for students within Barking & Dagenham whose attendance is below 10% or who are not attending at all, the Lord-Lieutenant met with pupils, parents, and staff and heard all about the fantastic work that goes on at the centre.
